After much searching found "scribefire" an addon that works inside Firefox. Works in a platform independent way so it works under mac - linux or that other OS.
Nice because it works much as the bibliographic tool "zotero" works.
Can be used to preview or add directly to the blog.
Nice Hope it improves output.
